A boy who began transgendering himself to be more like a girl when he was 12 has changed his mind just two years later.  Patrick Mitchell's story will be on Australia's  60 Minutes  on Sunday. He gave an interview to  Women's Day  explaining how being called a "girl" actually made him realize he was comfortable as a boy. He will now be undergoing surgery to remove breast tissue that grew as a result of him taking estrogen. Church of England bishops have overwhelmingly backed a motion calling for a ban on   conversion therapy for gay Christians .  What is a homosexual Christian? Doesn't even make sense. Can we have an alcoholic or murderous Christian, perhaps an adultery Christian? How about porn star Christian? Being gay is not a sickness or a sin, the church's General Synod heard on Saturday as it debated and voted on a private member's motion (PMM). So the Bible is wrong and these people are right? Priests in the Church of Sweden need to perform same-sex "marriages" or find another job, Prime Minister Stefan Löfven told Swedish outlet  Kyrkans Tidning . He compared priests unwilling to perform same-sex "weddings" with midwives unwilling to participate in abortions. A   Swedish high court recently ruled against a midwife who has  fought for years to not be forced to help with abortions . The midwife, Ellinor Grimmark, is  taking her case to the European Court of Human Rights .   The Social Democrat leader said his party is working to ensure all Church of Sweden priests will "marry" same-sex couples. "I see parallels to the midwife who refuses to perform abortions," said Löfven. "If you work as a midwife, [you] must be able to perform abortions, otherwise you have to do something else. It is the same for priests" who do not want to conduct same-sex weddings. The Niagara Catholic District School Board is facing a media spotlight and suggestions of “ transphobia ” for canceling performances of a play about gender identity that were booked in five elementary schools. Produced by the St. Catharines -based Carousel Playhouse, which lists Pride Niagara as a community partner, the play is called   Boys, Girls and Other Mythological Creatures  and features an 8-year-old boy who dresses as a girl and questions his gender. The cancellations came within 48 hours of the first performance of the play in the Catholic school district, for Grades 1 to 4 students at Mary Ward School on April 25. Australia: Children think it's cool to be transgender and they're trying the self-identity out in droves, claims an Australian psychiatrist. Psychiatrist Stephen Stathis, who runs the gender clinic at Brisbane's Lady Cilento Children's Hospital and is responsible for diagnosing gender dysphoria , reports that “many” youth are “trying out being transgender” in order to stand out. Apparently, declaring oneself “transgender” is trendy. “One said to me, ‘Doctor Steve ... I want to be transgender, it’s the new black,’” Stathis  related . Dr. Stathis also says many girls want to be transgender as a result of sexual abuse . “The girls say, ‘If only I had been a male, I wouldn’t have been abused,’” Stathis explained. Christian evangelist was accused of a hate crime and locked up in a cell after preaching from the Bible to a gay teenager. Gordon Larmour, 42, was charged by police after telling the story of Adam and Eve to a 19-year-old who asked him about God ’s views on homosexuality. The street preacher referred to the Book of Genesis and stated that God created Adam and Eve to produce children. Within minutes he was frogmarched to a police van, accused of threatening or abusive behaviour 'aggravated by prejudice relating to sexual orientation ' - despite not swearing or using any form of offensive language.
