One of the doctors who wrote a searing critique of the Australian Medical Association ’s Position Statement on changing the Marriage Act repeated his call for the AMA to retract the statement following an address by Australian Medical Association (AMA) President Dr Michael Gannon at the National Press Club today. The critique has now been signed by more than five hundred Australian doctors including 26 professors and six past AMA state presidents and can be found at critiqueAMA.com. Last week the BBC aired a documentary called Transgender Kids: Who Knows Best?  It investigated the best approaches for parents to take if their child has gender-dysphoria issues. It generated immense controversy, not least for featuring the views of Kenneth Zucker (pictured), a doctor considered a leading authority on gender dysphoria until he was fired from Canada ’s largest child gender clinic for allegedly practising conversion therapy. Trans activists were so terrified of what the interviewees in the documentary might say that they started a petition demanding the documentary be shelved until it had been ‘reviewed by experts’. In August this year 62-year-old Hengky Irawan went to the Aarows club in Sydney's west with a litre bottle of acid, along with a funnel and a knife. He poured the acid into the lubricant container, but set off an alarm when he broke the dispenser's seal, notifying staff at the club. He was later charged with a range of offences, including administering poison with the intent to cause injury, distress or pain, and malicious damage. Australia: Qantas CEO Alan Joyce has slammed plans for a public vote on gay marriage as he fears it will spark homophobic attacks. He doesn't trust Australians .  Joyce is toeing the Federal Labor line of kids committing suicide, traditional marriage supports acting as bigots running mad in the streets yelling hate filled speech, Christians claiming to love but full of hate, and ugly bigoted advertising. The airline boss, who is gay, said the proposed plebiscite could lead to 'open season for the most damaging, hurtful language about LGBT people . It has been four years since gay Labor senator Louise Pratt stood up in parliament, pleading for it to stop pretending her love, her family didn't exist. Pratt lives with a transgender partner Aram. When a 9-year-old boy who identifies as Stormi, a transgender girl, started selling Girl Scout cookies , one neighbor was not amused, according to  Buzzfeed . The neighbor rebuffed him, reportedly saying, “Nobody wants to buy Girl Scout cookies from a boy in a dress.” The neighbor is being called transphobic—but perhaps the neighbor thought he was being pranked by a boy and reacted accordingly. Not everyone assumes that a boy in a dress selling Girl Scout cookies is transgender. People Can Be Genderphobic Stormi looked like a boy to the neighbor because he really is a boy. Transgender people may deceive themselves, but they do not deceive others.
