Homosexual marriage activists use myths and falsehoods

Image
No one likes being the bearer of bad news—certainly I don't! But I have to tell you what our opponents are up to in the four states voting on marriage next Tuesday. You see, they are spooked by recent polls showing us with momentum on our side, and so they have unleashed  an avalanche of lies  and harassment in a desperate attempt to score their first state victory and avoid four more crushing defeats. Here's just a sample of the myths and falsehoods our opponents are filling the airwaves (and your mailboxes) with every day: In  Washington State , our opponents are airing ads claiming that if we do not redefine marriage, individuals in a same-sex domestic partnership will be denied hospital visitation rights (Washington law says they cannot be denied). Our opponents are sending out mailers to senior citizens claiming they will lose their health care and pay higher taxes on their Social Security benefits if gay marriage is not legalized (the Washington State Secreta

Homosexual Marriage Thugs and Tolerance Police

Image
The gay "marriage" thugs and "tolerance" police have struck again. Dr. Angela McCaskill, the first African-American PhD Gallaudet University has produced, was suspended from her university job—simply because campus officials discovered that she had signed a petition to allow the people of Maryland to vote on marriage! McCaskill's offense? Exercising her fundamental civil right to participate in the democratic process. And so, Dr. McCaskill, who is also deaf, was targeted, bullied, and intimidated by the gay "marriage" bullies and "tolerance" police who ultimately suspended her job. Does this sound like tolerance to you? Well, we've had enough of these threats and attacks on law-abiding citizens whose lives are being destroyed because they support God 's definition of marriage... and that's why I'm writing to you today. You see, the gay "marriage" lobby isn't merely attempting to destroy one law-a

New TV ad to feature Gallaudet University employee suspended for supporting marriage

WASHINGTON, D.C. , October 18, 2012, ( LifeSiteNews.com ) – Opponents of Maryland ’s Question 6, a referendum on same-sex “marriage,” are running a television ad using footage of suspended Gallaudet University administrator Angela McCaskill and warning that if the referendum passes, supporters of traditional marriage could face similar penalties. McCaskill, the chief diversity officer at the university, was  placed on leave earlier this month  after a homosexual blogger publicized her signature on a petition to put a same-sex “marriage” bill passed by the state legislature in front of the state’s voters. Angela McCaskill, chief diversity officer at Gallaudet University, has been suspended for her views. The ad, put out by the  Maryland Marriage Alliance , mentions four cases in which it says people have been penalized for their views on same-sex “marriage,” including McCaskill’s case, the Chick-fil-A uproar last summer, a sports reporter in Canada who was fired after p

University ‘diversity’ administrator placed on leave after signing marriage petition

Image
Washington, D.C., October 16, 2012  – The Chief Diversity Officer of Gallaudet University has been placed on administrative leave after a homosexual blogger publicized the fact that she signed a petition to support Question 6, a Maryland ballot measure that would send the same-sex “marriage” law recently passed by the state legislature to voters for a referendum. Angela McCaskill, who lives in Maryland, is the first Chief Diversity Officer at the university for the deaf and hard-of-hearing , and was the first black deaf woman to be awarded a Ph.D. from the school. She reportedly signed the petition after her pastor, Lee P. Washington of Reid Temple AME Church , preached against same-sex “marriage” during a sermon.  Angela McCaskill was dismissed from her position after supporting a referendum on gay "marriage." “Dr. McCaskill has participated in a legislative initiative that some feel is inappropriate for an individual serving as Chief Diversity Officer,” said

Women fired for going against homosexual marriage

Dr. Angela McCaskill.  You may not know her name but you should. She is the first black deaf woman to be granted a PhD by Gallaudet University , a national university for deaf people.  Until a few days ago, she was Gallaudet's chief diversity officer.  You can see her discussing her job here: But then someone complained about Dr. McCaskill. Was it about her job performance? Did she make a mistake? Fail in a key duty? Treat someone wrongly? No. The complaint against Dr. Angela McCaskill consists of one fact and one fact alone:  she exercised her core civil rights by signing a petition to put the question of marriage on the ballot for the voters of Maryland. That's it. But that in itself was enough for Gallaudet to relieve Dr. McCaskill of her responsibilities and to place her on paid leave while they "investigate" her! This is a very sad day in America. African- American Christians, it seems to me, are paying a disproportionate price for exercising the

Sacked because she didn't support homosexual marriage

Dr. Angela McCaskill has the distinction of being the first deaf black woman to receive a PhD from Gallaudet University , where she has served as their Chief Diversity Officer and has worked as a teacher, administrator and leader  for twenty-three years. Today she was summarily put on administrative leave while university officials "determine her future" at Gallaudet. Why?  Because it was brought to their attention that she signed the petition to allow the people of Maryland to vote on same-sex marriage ! No one is safe when marriage is redefined. The architects of same-sex marriage are bent on silencing and firing those who oppose their agenda. The irony of a university putting its own chief diversity officer on leave—a woman who by all accounts has served the institution with distinction for  over two decades —simply because she chose to exercise her rights as a citizen, cannot be ignored. This is a wake up call to all of us. We all have a stake in marriage. If
