October 29, 2013 ( Public Discourse ) - On September 14, 2013, I had the privilege of attending the “ Summer University ” of the Manif pour Tous . The latter is the French grassroots movement that sprang up last year as a counterrevolution against President Hollande’s same-sex marriage law. While I had been involved in the Manif since January, it was at the September conference that I saw the larger picture of what is happening in Europe. This year I also traveled to Brussels, Strasbourg, and London for the first time, on a mission to forge a transnational alliance for children’s rights. Those who have defended marriage until now may feel beleaguered. They may be irritated with the press’s misconstruing of Pope Francis ’s multiple comments about compassion toward homosexuals. The immoral Bisexual flag and Gay flag put together (Alphabetical order, "Bisexual" before "Homosexual".)  What happens now if children grow up in a society that overtly teaches that homosexual partnering is not "just as good as" but actually is marriage? Once this is regarded as settled law, anyone who tries to teach children to aspire to create a child-centered family with a father and a mother will be labeled as a bigot and accused of hate speech . Can you doubt that the textbooks will be far behind? Any depictions of "families" in schoolbooks will have to include a certain proportion of homosexual " marriages " as positive role models. Television programs will start to show homosexual "marriages" as wonderful and happy (even as they continue to show heterosexual marriages as oppressive and conflict-ridden). LONDON, May 16, 2013 ( LifeSiteNews.com ) – A Catholic elementary school in Wimbledon is under criticism for inviting Stonewall , the UK ’s most powerful homosexual lobbying group, to train its teachers how to deal with “homophobic bullying.” Sarah Crouch, headmaster of St. Mary’s Catholic Primary School , told the  Evening Standard , “We want to give our staff the tools to know what to do should an incident of homophobic bullying occur...It is important that children know it is not OK to use the word gay in a derogatory way.” She said the school brought Stonewall in to comply with the requirements of the government’s school overseers, Ofsted.
