The former top Ontario education official who was charged this week with making child pornography stated in a 2009 letter that a government strategy seeking to embed the Liberals’ “sexual diversity” agenda in the schools was a “priority” for him. In the letter, dated April 6 th , 2009, Dr. Benjamin Levin informs school boards and principals of the release of the government’s “equity and inclusive education” strategy, which sparked intense controversy because of its promotion of homosexual activism in the schools. One element of the strategy was a radical sex-ed program - beginning with 6-year-olds in first grade - that was shelved by then-Premier Dalton McGuinty because of a backlash from parents. In the letter, Levin – who was then serving as Kathleen Wynne ’s deputy minister of education – writes: "This province-wide strategy has been a priority for our Minister of Education Kathleen Wynne and me." The letter is  available  on the Ministry of Education’s w

Health & Education groups asks Ontario gvmt to bring back sex ed pushing radical sexual agenda on kids

A high-profile coalition of education and health groups is urging Kathleen Wynne ’s Liberal government to reintroduce the radical sex ed curriculum that was shelved in 2010 after blowback from parents. That program would have had students learning about “sexual orientation” and “gender identity” as early as grade 3, and oral and anal intercourse as early as grade 7. The coalition, which is spearheaded by the Ontario Physical Health Education Association and includes SickKids Hospital , the Council of Ontario Directors of Education, the Elementary Teachers' Federation of Ontario , and the University of Toronto , among others, issued a set of reports Monday urging the province to get a new curriculum off the ground by the fall. They claim that Ontario’s existing 1998 curriculum is “woefully out of date” and ultimately hurting the province’s children. In particular, the groups are concerned that the curriculum needs to be more fully brought into line with the government’s

Ontario Liberal leadership race - which homosexual activist will win?

Image
TORONTO, November 5, 2012 - In a leadership race marked more by those who have said they don’t want to be the new provincial Liberal leader than by those who have said they do, the first two contenders to announce a bid for the job are open homosexual activists. Ontario is by far Canada’s largest province by population and GDP, with the federal government also located in Ontario in the nation’s capital city of Ottawa. First out of the gate was Toronto Centre Rosedale MPP Glen Murray , who announced his candidacy on November 4 at a rally at the Mattamy Athletics Centre at Maple Leaf Gardens, with his homosexual partner Rick Neves, Research in Motion (RIM) billionaire  Jim Balsillie  and former provincial Liberal cabinet minister George Smitherman, another homosexual activist, in attendance. Besides being an ex CEO of RIM Jim Balillie is also the founder and chair of The Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI) and in 2010 was appointed to the United Nations Secretar

TORONTO, Sept. 12, 2012 ( LifeSiteNews.com ) – As a Hamilton father  fights his school board  in court for the right to protect his children from classes on sexuality that he considers objectionable, Ontario’s Education Minister is backing the board. In a statement to LifeSiteNews about whether she supports the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board ’s decision to forbid religious accommodation to students seeking to withdraw from classes dealing with homosexuality, Education Minister Laurel Broten says school boards may refuse parents’ requests for religious accommodation if they deem fit. Education Minister Laurel Broten “Boards have the autonomy and flexibility to make accommodations based on individual requests, on a case by case basis,” Broten  told LifeSiteNews Tuesday afternoon. “We will continue to support a province-wide curriculum, and local approaches to religious accommodation.” Some pro-family leaders are questioning the government’s motives, however, noti

Abolish heterosexism: pro-homosexual activists knocking at door of Ontario’s Catholic schools again

As the homosexual agenda continues to infiltrate the Catholic educational system in Ontario under the guise of anti-bullying programs, a newer and potentially more sinister homosexual program has already come knocking at the schools’ doors this fall. Chris D’Souza, one of the draftees of McGuinty ’s Equity strategy, explains his support for homosexual “marriage" during an April 18 Catholic school board meeting on the board’s equity policy. LifeSiteNews.com has obtained a copy of a letter signed by Chris D’Souza, director of Harmony Movement, which was apparently sent to all of Ontario’s Catholic school trustees at the beginning of September. The letter promotes Harmony Movement’s brand of “diversity education” that aims to equip students and teachers in the “fight” against “heterosexism.” The Harmony Movement program, he said, is a tool for promoting “equity and inclusive education,” “student leadership,” and “youth empowerment.” “Your support in passing on this program informa
