Transgender anchor sues BET for $2.5 million because he couldn’t host segment in drag

Image
LOS ANGELES, August 8, 2013 ( LifeSiteNew s.com ) – Cross-dressing internet gossip columnist and sometime-television personality Brandon Sessoms, who goes by the stage name  B. Scott , has filed a $2.5 million gender discrimination lawsuit against Black Entertainment Television (BET) after the network demanded he wear “masculine” attire at a recent awards show. Sessoms, 32, is an openly homosexual man who calls himself “transgender,” because he believes that his “spirit” is neither male nor female. While he admits that “biologically, I am male — as my sex was determined at birth by my reproductive organs,” he says “my spirit truly lies somewhere in between. It is that same spirit that has allowed me to become so comfortable in my skin, choose how I express myself, and contributes to how I live my day-to-day life.“ On June 30, Sessoms felt led by that “spirit” to wear a flowing sheer caftan, loose-fitting women’s pants, and high-heeled pumps to host a fashion-themed red-car

Gay Human Rights Commissioner to Evangelical pastor: you and your family ‘deserve to burn in hell’

Image
SIOUX CITY, IA , July 23, 2013 ( LifeSiteNews ) – An Evangelical pastor in Sioux City is requesting the removal of a newly-appointed member of the city’s Human Rights Commission because of hateful and threatening comments the official posted to the pastor’s Facebook page in 2010. Pastor Cary Gordon of Cornerstone World Outreach says that Human Rights Commissioner Scott Raasch, who is homosexual, wrote on Facebook that because Gordon had encouraged voters to toss out three Supreme Court judges whose court order made same-sex “marriage” legal in Iowa , he was a “hater” and a “bigot” and that he should “burn in hell” along with his entire family. “I advocated for the removal of our state supreme court judges in 2010, because they violated their oaths of office while pretending to be lawmakers, forcing gay ‘marriage’ on our state,” Gordon recounted in a  blog post .  “Thankfully, a significant majority of Iowa citizens agreed with my advocacy for the rule of law and the restricted

Homosexual activists attack church

Take a deep breath and then take a look at these pictures. Overnight, vandals attacked a small, 150-year old church with graffiti, leaving spray-painted swastikas to greet Pastor Steve DeGroft as he arrived this morning. Why? Because this church in Maine took a stand for marriage. Now ask yourself this question: Have you voted today? Have you done everything in your power to make sure that in Maine, Minnesota , Maryland , Washington , and Iowa that you or your friends and family have voted to protect marriage. Some states require a yes vote to protect marriage; some a vote no, against, or to reject same-sex marriage . Each of these races—in Maine, Washington, Maryland, Minnesota, and Iowa—is extremely close.  And our opponents know it. Take another look at that vandalized church. If you have not done everything in your power to get out the vote in these key states—or if you have not voted yourself—you are allowing this to occur, not just in Maine, but throughout the

Bill Gates supports immoral homosexual marriage

n just 10 days, you can change history. You could wake up the morning after the election to watch the shocked expression on the faces of all the pundits, the politicians, the out of control judges, and see the headlines:  HISTORIC NATIONAL VICTORY FOR MARRIAGE ! Just 10 days until the polls close, when America will choose. The future of our country—and also the future of marriage—could be decided for generations to come. Nationally, Americans will choose between Mitt Romney , a pro-marriage candidate for President who will defend DOMA and appoint judges that respect our Constitutional values; or the openly pro-gay marriage incumbent, Barack Obama , who has surreptitiously undermined the legal defense of marriage for four years and who, if he gets a second term, will have the power to position a fifth vote on the Supreme Court to invent a right to gay marriage and insert it in our founding document. In Iowa, Judge David Wiggins —the fourth of seven judges who imposed gay marri

Did Homosexual activists vandalize churches?

We as a people will elect a president of the United States : Either a man who will appoint judges that impose gay marriage on all 50 states... ...Or a man willing to fight for the values and views that you and I hold dear. More importantly: a man willing to stand up for God's view of marriage as the union of husband and wife —and who will give us a fighting chance at the Supreme Court. In November, the people of several deep blue states will have a chance—thanks to you!—to vote to protect marriage as the union of husband and wife. And in Iowa, the people will have a chance once again to express their disapproval of the activist judges who imposed gay marriage on that state against its citizens will! Here's a snapshot of me with Gov. Bobby Jindal on the "No Wiggins" bus. Iowa is accustomed to being a central battleground in politics, being first among the nation's caucuses; but now Iowans have a chance not only to help elect a new president, but to un-elect an

More people say no to Homosexual Marriage

One issue that has been in headlines recently is "gay marriage." We were curious to know how federal employees and retirees (most of our readers fall into these categories) react to this subject. In most of the polls on political issues, readers tend to favor the liberal side of the political spectrum. In large part, this is due to economic self-interest. On the issue of gay marriage, however, readers gave a more conservative response. 64 percent of those responding are opposed to legalizing same-sex marriage and 33 percent said they are in favor of legalizing same-sex marriage. Three percent are undecided on the issue. Some of the reasons given for being against same-sex marriage are based on religious beliefs. Some readers think it is destructive to society to allow same-sex marriage. Still others are in favor of civil unions but prefer restricting marriage to a relationship between a man and a woman. Those speaking out in favor of allowing same-sex marriage often viewed i

CLINTON, Iowa , May 17, 2012 ( LifeSiteNews.com ) - The Catholic Diocese of Davenport , Iowa has reversed its decision disallowing the public presentation of an LGBT scholarship at a local Catholic high school , and has directed a school official to read the award’s description at the school’s commencement. The Eychaner Foundation’s Gold Matthew Shephard Scholarship, which carries a $40,000 reward for students who excel academically while promoting “tolerance and diversity,” is to be awarded to Keaton Fuller, a senior at Prince of Peace College Prep in Clinton, Iowa . The decision overruled school officials, who had helped Fuller

Ron Paul: Personally opposed to same-sex ‘marriage,’ but….

Image
WASHINGTON , November 29, 2011 ( LifeSiteNews.com ) - As  polls show  Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul   tied for first place  in Iowa , media outlets have struggled to understand his distinctive stance on the issues, including same-sex “marriage.” Sheldon Alberts of Canada ’s National Post , for example,  wrote Monday  that “Paul believes: Gays should be allowed to marry.” Ron Paul Photo: Steve Jalsevac/ LifeSiteNews The truth is more complex…and perhaps confusing. Congressman Paul’s view of same-sex “marriage” can best be summed up in one phrase: states rights . Ron Paul believes homosexuals should be allowed to “marry”…in states that legalize the practice. At the same time, Paul is a lifelong Christian who says he personally believes in traditional marriage. In 2004,  Paul said  on the House floor, “I oppose federal efforts to redefine marriage as something other than a union between one man and one woman.” In August,  Paul repeated , “I think that marriages should be bet
