A proposed education regulation in Delaware allows children to self-identify as any race and gender regardless of reality. “All students enrolled in a Delaware public school may self-identify gender or race,”  Regulation 225 says , and that will be maintained in official records. The regulation stipulates that students’ parents may only be notified of their child’s trans-race or transgender identification if they are “supportive of the student” and his or her confusion. It says: A school may request permission from the parent or legal guardian of a minor student before a self identified gender or race is accepted; provided, however, that prior to requesting the permission from a parent or legal guardian, the school should consult and work closely with the student to assess the degree to which, if any, the parent or legal guardian is aware of the Protected Characteristic and is supportive of the student, and the school shall take into consideration the safety, health

Washington , D.C. just began allowing residents to list their gender as 'X' on their driver's licenses to accommodate people who think they are genderless. But the REAL ID Act , which was passed after 9/11 and enacted in 2005, "specifically requires gender on each driver’s license and identification card issued to a person by a state,"  Judicial Watch explained . The law "prohibits federal agencies from accepting for official purposes licenses and identification cards that do not meet these standards." The person's gender must be listed on "each driver’s license and identification card issued to a person by the state," according to the law. The Safe Schools Coalition of Australia continues to promote a controversial children’s story book,The Gender Fairy, despite its author, Jo Hirst, saying it is not a “Safe Schools” resource. Image via Wikipedia  In its last session the Massachusetts legislature considered a radical “ Transgender Equal Rights” law.  It didn’t pass, but we can expect it to be back again next session. According to the proposed legislation, ‘transgendered’ persons would receive special legal protection. The term “ gender identity or expression” would be added to current laws and defined as “a gender-related identity, appearance, expression, or behavior of an individual, regardless of the individual’s physiology or assigned sex at birth.” The law would apply not only to people who have undergone surgery to create the appearance of the other sex, both above and below the waist, but anyone who is simply wants to dress as the other sex.           This would effect all public accommodations , because according to the law “ all otherwise lawfully sex-segregated facilities, accommodations, resorts and amusements shall grant persons admission to and the full enjoyment of such facilities, accomm
