Air Force Sergeant claims he was fired for refusing to endorse gay ‘marriage’: faces court martial

Image
WASHINGTON, D.C., September 10, 2013 ( LifeSiteNews ) – An Air Force sergeant who filed a discrimination complaint with the U.S. military claiming he was fired by his lesbian commander for refusing to make a statement of support for same-sex “marriage” may now face prosecution for taking his accusations public. Senior Master Sergeant Phillip Monk was relieved of his duties as first sergeant at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio in August after two separate confrontations with an openly homosexual superior officer, Major Elisa Valenzeula.  The first incident had to do with an Air Force trainer who told trainees he disagreed with state-sanctioned same-sex “marriage” and compared it to the fall of the Roman Empire .  After a number of airmen filed complaints about the trainer’s remarks, Monk was ordered to advise Valenzuela regarding potential disciplinary action. Senior Master Sergeant Phillip Monk “Her very first reaction was to say, ‘we need to lop off the hea

Homosexual marriage is not inevitable

Image
Reason Magazine , which is editorially a pro-gay marriage libertarian slant. Reason   reports on a recent Fox News poll  about gay marriage that asked, "using two different word frames," whether folks support or oppose same-sex 'marriage': and the two methods yielded dramatically different results. But both put the lie to the argument that somehow redefining marriage is somehow inevitable. The first frame asked about "changing the definition of the word marriage to also include same-sex couples", and found that  Americans oppose redefining marriage by 56 percent to 39 percent. But in the same poll Fox asked if respondents would favor "legalizing same-sex marriage." Here Americans split 46 percent in favor and 47 percent opposed with 7 percent undecided—still far short of the supposed majority other mainstream media outlets would have you believe support same-sex marriage. Americans don't really believe gay unions are marriages. W

Air Force hosts drag queen ‘Diversity Day’ or homosexual Day

Image
LOS ANGELES, – Jewels and the Brunchettes, a drag queen group of entertainers, were invited to perform at the Los Angeles Air Force Base on August 8 as part of a “ Diversity Day ” celebration, according to Fox News . Fox News’ Todd Starnes  reported  that three individuals dressed in drag were featured in a musical performance that sparked outrage among some military personnel, who called the performance “totally offensive and inappropriate.” Photographs of the event published by Fox show an individual wearing a giant wig performing to an almost non-existent audience sitting beneath the American flag. The  Los Angeles Air Force Base’s Facebook page  described the event as featuring “a remarkable guest speaker, live entertainment, educational booths, ethnic dishes, and much more.” The "educational booths" included an LGBT homosexual advocacy booth. The "remarkable guest speaker" was Brigadier General Tammy Smith , who became the first openly lesbian

Two major polls say: Marriage should NOT be redefined

Image
Fox News Channel (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) Here's another good thing you probably haven't heard about: two major polls demonstrate that the majority believe marriage SHOULD NOT BE redefined. First, a Rice University poll has surfaced showing that a majority — 53% — STILL believe marriage should only be between a man and a woman! This comparative study demonstrates that the idea that droves of Americans are changing their minds in favor of redefining marriage is a myth. And today news of a recent Fox News poll has come to light that is even better. Fox asked the question, Would you approve or disapprove of changing the definition of the word marriage to also include same-sex couples? 56% said they would disapprove, while only 39% would approve! But the results of these surveys are being largely ignored in the media because they don't fit into the drum beat that says same-sex 'marriage' is "inevitable." It is this lie of "inevitability&qu

Marriage Equality results in limits of freedom of speech and religion.

Image
English: Kevin Rudd, 26th Prime Minister of Australia. (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) Homosexual marriage was not just going to be about private liberty, public tolerance, and equality. There is a growing awareness that homosexual marriage is also about limits on freedom of speech and religion.  The marriage equality advocates useage of bigotry seeks to silence dissent by abusing people and labeling them as haters. With respect, this is the reason why Prime Minister Kevin Rudd will lose the election. He will allow the nation to be divided by being manipulated by a group of self centered people who demand their rights at the cost of the rest of the nation.  This very small group of people are seeking change marriage if not by force but by refusing to back down even after three bills failed. If that fails they will continue to live in defacto relationship and seek to use 'marriage' as a tool for equality, whereas in reality, it will only reinforce attitudes that they are not

Chaplains group investigating claims Army threatened chaplain over Facebook post on homosexuality

Image
A group advocating freedom of religion in the military is investigating claims that a young Army chaplain ’s assistant has been reprimanded by her commanding officer and threatened with rank and pay reductions for expressing religious opposition to homosexuality on her personal Facebook page. The anonymous 26-year-old, who has served in the armed forces for six years, told Fox News personality Todd Starnes that she posted her thoughts to the social media site after viewing an online video featuring a pastor who denied that homosexuality is a sin. Members of the servicewoman’s unit reported her to commanding officer, who called her in and, she says, gave her a choice: Take the message down, or get busted down in rank and pay. She has refused to take the comment down, and is prepared to take legal action if necessary. “We fight for the freedom that I can’t enjoy right now,” she said. “That’s not right.” Ron Crews, the executive director of the  Chaplain Alliance for

Obama, transgender toilet and homosexual agenda

Pro-family leaders reacted with stunned disbelief this week to the news of a settlement in the case of a Southern California girl whose parents filed a federal civil rights complaint against their local school district after their daughter was not allowed to sleep in a hotel room full of boys during field trips, despite her belief that she is a boy trapped in a girl's body. After two years of investigation by the Obama administration's Department of Justice, the Arcadia Unified School District   agreed to a settlement  in which they admit no wrongdoing, but will allow the teenage girl, who is about to enter ninth grade, to use the facilities of her preferred sex rather than her biological one, as well as to participate in activities intended for boys only. Additionally, they will provide sensitivity training for their staff and faculty and add “gender identity” to the definition of “gender discrimination” in the district’s anti-discrimination policies. That means from

Dr. Ben Carson steps down as college speaker after furor over his defense of marriage

Image
BALTIMORE , April 11, 2013 ( LifeSiteNews.com ) – Famed pediatric neurosurgeon Dr. Ben Carson announced Wednesday that he will not speak at graduation ceremonies for students at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and School of Education. Dr. Carson, who rose from poverty to become one of the leading neurosurgeons in the world, was slated to give the commencement speech at Johns Hopkins, where he has practiced since 1977. But homosexual activists, angry about comments Carson made in favor of traditional marriage, mounted a campaign to force the university to disinvite him. Carson, 61, discussed his views on same-sex “marriage” last month on  Fox News , expressing his concern that a redefinition of marriage to include homosexual couples could be a slippery slope. “Marriage is between a man and a woman,” Carson told Fox News host Sean Hannity . “It’s a well-established, fundamental pillar of society and no group — be they gays, be they NAMBLA , be they people who beli

Did Facebook® Boycott Chick-fil-A®?

Image
Image via CrunchBase You've likely heard that Chick-fil-A ®  has come under fire for supporting traditional marriage and the biblical understanding of the family .  But now it appears that the social media giant, Facebook ® , temporarily censored a grassroots effort to applaud and support the family-run business . What's this all about? Former Arkansas governor -turned-talk-show-host Mike Huckabee floated the idea of organizing a "Chick-fil-A ®  Appreciation Day" for August 1 st . He talked about it on his FOX News TV show last Sunday, launched a  Facebook® page  to promote it and by the following Tuesday morning had gathered over 100,000 supporters declaring their agreement with the concept.  By late Tuesday morning, however, the page was gone. It seems Facebook ®  had removed it. After several news outlets pushed for an explanation, including Focus on the Family's  Citizenlink ® , the page suddenly reappeared last Wednesday. Shortly after, a Facebook ® of

Fox News psychiatrist says he fears threats of violence when questioning homosexual agenda

Image
July 5, 2012 ( LifeSiteNews.com ) - Dr. Keith Ablow , a psychiatrist who functions as a Fox News expert on the channel’s “Medical A-Team” says that he hesitates to write anything that might be considered objectionable to homosexual activists, due to the threats of violence he is likely to receive as a result. In a recent Fox News interview with Ablow, the psychiatrist spoke about the recent  New Family Structures Study  (NFSS), which showed that children who were aware of same-sex sexual activity on the part of at least one of their parents were much more likely to have been sexually abused themselves and to suffer from depression, impaired relationships with others, and many other problems. Observing that the study is the largest ever done on this subject, Ablow said that the disturbing results indicate “we’ve got to look more at it,” adding: “And it’s such a controversial thing, I’ve got to tell you, that I hesitate to write the blog [on the topic], because every time I
