The U.S. Senate confirmed Richard Grenell as ambassador to Germany , making him the highest-ranking homosexual in the Trump administration. The Senate confirmed him by a 56-42 vote last Thursday, Reuters reported . He previously served as an adviser to several diplomats in the Bush administration as well as a U.S. spokesman at the United Nations , and he represented the country at numerous UN conferences. He was also a foreign policy analyst for numerous media outlets. President Donald Trump originally nominated Grenell in September. His confirmation came just in time for a visit to Washington from German Chancellor Angela Merkel. The head of the United States Coast Guard said Tuesday that the force will continue to allow transgender members to serve, despite the ban recently finalized by the country’s commander in chief. “We are certainly committed to their [transgenders’] continued service in the United States Coast Guard,” Commandant Adm. Paul Zukunft told the House Appropriations Homeland Security Subcommittee,   according   to   Politico . “We will make sure that there is a one policy for all service members.” He explained that the heads of all five branches of the country’s armed forces were currently discussing how to implement President Donald Trump ’s order, but maintained that he would not expel any members until expressly ordered to do so. He added that 17 out of 40,000 active-duty Coast Guard members were estimated to be transgendered or “transitioned,” including one member of his personal staff. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services no longer hosts a webpage on lesbian and bisexual-specific health issues, a government transparency organization revealed Wednesday. The Sunlight Foundation  reports  that the Trump administration has deleted from HHS’s Office of Women’s Health website a page titled, “ Lesbian and bisexual health.” The  original URL  leads to an error message and the page is inaccessible from any other part of the site. The page, archived  here , said that while “all women have specific health risks,” lesbians and bisexual women are at greater risk for heart disease, cancer, certain sexually-transmitted diseases, depression, anxiety, and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) . It further claims that lesbians and bisexuals face unique problems in the healthcare system, such as doctors who lack the training for their specific needs and health professionals who don’t believe a lesbian or bisexual woman “can be a healthy, normal female.” A  PDF doc

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) has given its backing to a common sense bill that LGBT zealots warn could be used to stop immoral homosexual couples adopting kids and ultimately shaping those children into advocates for the sin of homosexuality. President Trump issued an order late Friday that supports a ban on many transgender troops, deferring to a new Pentagon plan that essentially cancels a policy adopted by the Obama administration .
