Should young Australian kids be learning about the sin of homosexual sex?

Image
The Australian Christian Lobby is demanding the Queensland Government cease supporting a school based anti-bullying program for gay, intersex and gender diverse children, accusing it of promoting "radical sexual experimentation", by encouraging the acceptance of gender and sexual diverse children. The Safe Schools Coalition Australia program was made available to Queensland schools from the start of the second semester this year. The federally-funded program, which is also available in Victoria, New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory and Tasmania , is not compulsory, with principals able to choose whether or not their school could benefit from it. Building on a Victorian model, SSCA, which has been approved by the federal education department as a resource, addresses homophobia and transphobia within schools and is designed to make the school environment "more inclusive for same-sex attracted, intersex and gender diverse young people". Australian Government bans gay material for politicians but promotes it for schools

Today I am launching a petition calling on the Palaszczuk government to stop the roll-out of the so-called “Safe Schools” program in Queensland . The federally funded “Safe Schools” program is billed as an anti-homophobia campaign, but really it is teaching gay sex and queer gender theory to kids. It’s even being rolled out in some primary schools . Let me be very clear, our schools should be safe for every student .  No one should have to suffer bullying and especially not at school. But “Safe Schools” goes way beyond an anti-bullying campaign. The program’s material could charitably be described as ‘explicit’.  It contains: · explicit discussions about gay and lesbian sex · encourages schools to put up posters depicting gay and lesbian relationships · encourages schools to allow students to cross-dress · suggests that schools set up unisex toilets And that’s just the start of it. The material is so explicit that yesterday the Queensland Parliament cen

Homosexual zealots have hopped onto the anti-bullying bandwagon

Bullying has always been a problem. I faced it in school as did most people. It is a very common occurrence, but it is not amiss to seek to at least lessen it. In its extreme forms it can lead victims to attempt suicide, so it is well worth dealing with. And there have been all sorts of victims of bullying: -if you are an ugly kid you likely will be bullied; -if you are a fat kid you likely will be bullied; -if you are a skinny kid you likely will be bullied; -if you are an acne-ridden kid you likely will be bullied; -if you are a kid from the wrong side of town you likely will be bullied; -if you are an ungainly kid you likely will be bullied; -if you are a very bright kid you likely will be bullied. -if you are a very nerdy kid you likely will be bullied. The point is most kids have been bullied for all sorts of reasons. Such bullying is of course wrong, but it tends to be quite normal. But a major concern is when one special interest group seeks to politicise this issue, and hijac

Homosexual Bullies and Democrats

English: Another version of the same-sex marriage map. (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) When history looks back on the 2012-2013 legislative year, I believe it will be remembered as the year Americans realized the same-sex marriage movement for what it truly is:  a bullying behemoth that puts the very foundations of our democracy at stake. Right now, living through it all, it's been a somewhat discouraging year for believers in true marriage. We've seen a few narrow losses in some close, hard-fought battles. In some ways, the deck was stacked against us in these states — all of which were deep blue and controlled by Democrats , most with super majorities. But the "low hanging fruit" for the other side is gone. Now we have the chance to make sure the wave of same-sex marriage momentum crests and rolls back. That story is  ours  to write: this is  your  time, along with countless other pro-marriage Americans, to make history. From the earliest days of the marri

Homosexual activists in Minnesota move to ban unsupportive speech in schools

English: Bullying on IRFE in March 5, 2007, the first class day. (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) ST.PAUL, MN, March 11, 2013 ( LifeSiteNews ) – Homosexual activists in Minnesota are pushing for a broad “Safe and Supportive Schools Act” that would outlaw speech that could interfere with a student's ability "to participate in a safe and supportive learning environment."  The bill is being promoted as the strongest " anti-bullying " law in the nation, but critics say it could have a chilling effect on free speech, especially in religious schools that teach Christian beliefs on sexuality.  “We agree … that school bullying is a serious issue that needs to be ameliorated,” said Pete Noll, education director of the Minnesota Catholic Conference, testifying before the state legislature.  “All children are entitled to a safe, secure learning environment.”  But he disagreed that the “Safe and Supportive Schools Act” should apply to religious schools. The bill, a

Anti-bullying School program violates Religious freedom

WINNIPEG , March 1, 2013, ( LifeSiteNews.com ) - Controversy is escalating over the Manitoba NDP government's proposed anti- bullying law, which would force schools - including independent religious schools - to accommodate homosexual student clubs under the name gay-straight alliance ( GSA ). The  Public Schools Amendment Act (Safe and Inclusive Schools)  stipulates that schools "must accommodate pupils who want to establish and lead activities and organizations that use the name 'gay-straight alliance' or any other name that is consistent with the promotion of a positive school environment that is inclusive and accepting of all pupils." Independent religious schools in the province contend that Bill 18 is a violation of their religious freedom, while the NDP education minister said the personal rights of students take precedence over religious freedom. Manitoba religious private schools, including Jewish, Sikh, Islamic, as well as Catholic and ot

New pro-marriage television ads feature victims of bullying by homosexual activists

MINNEAPOLIS , November 2, 2012, - Two new television ads presented to voters by pro-marriage organizations are featuring victims of bullying by homosexual activists and their allies, whose habitual tactics of slander and intimidation were not widely reported by the mainstream media. One video sponsored by the Family Research Council and aired in opposition to homosexual “marriage” in Maryland , shows 14-year-old Sarah Crank and her mother describing  the viscous attacks  against Sarah by homosexuals following the girl’s testimony in favor of traditional marriage in the Maryland state legislature in January. ( Story continues following video .) The video shows quotes from public comments made on the Internet including “I hope you get raped by your married parents,” and “Stupid bitch, I hope you die on your birthday!”  “It never occurred to me in a million years that they would think about publicly attacking a child, publicly bullying a child,” says Crank’s mother

Christian organizations’ ‘Yardstick’ evaluates anti-bullying policies for pro-LGBT bias

SCOTTSDALE, Arizona , August 31, 2012, ( LifeSiteNews.com ) - Two leading U.S. Christian advocacy groups have joined forces to create a guideline to assure school anti-bullying policies protect all students from bullying and are not being used simply to advance the homosexual agenda . Alliance Defending Freedom ( ADF ), in a joint effort with Focus on the Family , has announced the “Anti-Bullying Policy Yardstick,”  which allows public schools and the general public to evaluate thelegal aspects of a school’s anti-bullying rules. “All students deserve to be protected from bullying, not just ones favored by certain political activist groups,” said Alliance Defending Freedom Legal Counsel Jeremy Tedesco. “And all schools need help to ensure that their policies comport with their students’ First Amendment freedoms and other legal protections. This tool is designed to provide that help.” The Yardstick outlines the good and bad approaches to the top 10 most common components of sc
