Intolerant Homosexual Activism

Image
English: State seal of North Carolina (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) The bile being spat at the people of North Carolina exposes the ugly elitism of the gay-marriage lobby. This orgy of bile, from the mainstream branding of North Carolina's voters as 'ignorant' to the peripheral demands that they do the world a favour and kill themselves, shows what is behind the gay-marriage campaign. This is not about rights and equality, or love and happiness. Rather, gay marriage has become a tool through which the right-minded sections of society express their moral superiority over the dumb, the brainwashed, the insufficiently cosmopolitan, the churchgoing. Gay marriage has become a kind of weapon, wielded by the right-on to demonstrate that they are better—that is, less brainwashed and more caring—than your average redneck or country black. Supporting gay marriage has become a kind of cultural signifier, a way of distinguishing oneself from the ignorant throng. Given all thi

Obama Homosexual Marriages

Same Sex Marriage (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) The president's position regarding " same-sex marriage " has set off a "firestorm," unlike any other debate in our civil society, perhaps, since the civil rights unrest of the mid-20th century. The advocacy for same-sex marriage, while in conflict with our nation's long-standing moral posture, has indeed created opportunity for the church to communicate our unequivocal position about God 's design and foundation for humanity, the biblical mandate for heterosexuality through the bonds of matrimony and the centuries-old understanding of the only acceptable means of procreation, habitation and the establishment of the family. The president suggests same-sex relationships and male-female relationships committed to by oath before God and/or witnesses, where formal documents are signed before a civil or ecclesiastical figure. It further implies that both are equally good and valuable. In addition to this, it s

Why does Obama support Homosexual Marriage?

Barack Obama delivers a speech at the University of Southern California (Video of the speech) (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) The fallout from Pres. Obama 's flip-flop on marriage continues. Sixty-two percent of Americans say, in a new Fox News poll, that it was just a political decision on Obama's part (including a plurality of Democrats , 46 percent to 38 percent). If so, it was a very bad one. As NOM's political consultant Frank Schubert told California's influential insider  Flash Report : "After months of very carefully managing expectations about his 'evolving' position on gay marriage , President Obama suddenly found himself last week careening between powerful forces like the steel ball in Elton John's 'pinball wizard.' His own Vice President threw him into the pinball machine, and then his Education Secretary thrust the plunger, launching him into game." "...The left is jumping for joy at their accomplishment,

Reasons against homosexual marriage that Jacqueline Maley

The following article appeared in the Sydney Morning Herald and the Melbourne Age and like President Obama, both simply assert the benefits of homosexual marriage without addressing the fact that homosexuality is against physical design, evolution, against a healthy lifestyle, and common sense as homosexual marriage is by nature infertile. It is also against millenia of heterosexual marriage that has worked successfully for the State.  Without argument, the inference is that people who support marriage between a man and a woman and age old concept are stupid. That is the argument: you stupid! Homosexuality is against biology, in that the bodies of men and women are complimentary. Garde 8 biology is very clear on this. For homosexual men the sex act is one of destruction using the anal passage which the bodies has been designed foe the removal of waste. AIDS and other sexual diseases in this case are transmitted by the tearing of the anal passage during sodomy. Second there is

Obama's Spiritual Adviser Rebukes President on Golden Rule, Same-Sex Marriage

(Photo credit: Wikipedia ) The Rev. Joel Hunter of the 15,000-member Northland church, who is often referred to as President Barack Obama's spiritual adviser, said he is disappointed with the president's use of the "Golden Rule" to explain his endorsement of gay marriage. "The Golden Rule is in the Bible but it cannot be used to contradict God's marriage pattern reaffirmed by Jesus in Matthew 19:4-5," Hunter shared in an interview with The Christian Post. "Have you not read that He who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, 'For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and the two shall become one flesh?'" Obama affirmed his support for same-sex marriage in an interview with ABC News

5 reasons why Christians should oppose homosexual marriage

This protester was on his own and letting Minnesota state Senators know his position on gay marriage. This is freedom of speech in action. (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) Yesterday, to no one's surprise, President Obama revealed in an interview that after some "evolution" he has "concluded that for me personally it is important for me to go ahead and affirm that I think same sex couples should be able to get married." This after the Vice-President came out last Sunday strongly in favor of gay marriage . Not coincidentally, the New York Times ran an article on Tuesday (an election day with a marriage amendment on one ballot) about how popular and not controversial gay television characters have become. In other words, everyone else has grown up so why don't you? It can seem like the whole world is having a gay old time, with conservative Christians the only ones refusing to party. The temptation, then, is for Christians go silent and give up the marri

Obama's Homosexual marriage justification based on stories?

Protesters at 2006 gay pride event. Union Square, San Francisco, United States. (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) Time and time again, I talk to Christians whose experiences, like mine, go something like this: “ I used to think that homosexuality was a sinful, promiscuous lifestyle that people chose in rebellion to God , and that Christians need to rally against the ‘ gay agenda ’ through legislative action. Then, my best friend (or brother or sister or son or daughter or high school buddy or neighbor or mentor) came out, and everything changed. Their story didn’t fit the stereotype. It didn’t fit into my previous categories. Their story made me see that things aren’t that simple, and that the ‘war’ between Christianity and homosexuality represents a false dichotomy that is incredibly painful and destructive to Christians with same-sex attractions. After that, I could no longer support the sort of rhetoric and actions that only serve to make this world a more hostile and hopeless

Catholic actor Martin Sheen: ‘the Church is not God’ on gay ‘marriage’ issue

Martin Sheen (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) LOS ANGELES , April 3, 2012 ( LifeSiteNews.com ) - Actor Martin Sheen has defended his position in favor of redefining marriage despite his Catholic faith, saying that “my religion’s highest standard is conscience .” Sheen was asked about the apparent conflict between his Catholic identity and his stance on marriage by the  Wilshire & Washington blog  following his performance in a play that raised $2 million for a gay rights lobby group. Sheen played the role of one of the plaintiffs in the play “8,” a dramatic rendition of the Proposition 8 trials written by Dustin Lance Black , who also wrote the screenplay for the 2008 movie Milk. Actor Martin Sheen “My religion’s highest standard is conscience. Nothing can get between your conscience and God , not even the Church, because for 2,000 years, my Church has been lifting up as exemplary various men and women in their lives who have served as inspiration to all of us over the centuries, an
