Trapped in homosexual sin

Image
As of June 2017, 547,000 same-sex marriages have happened in the U.S. to date.  4.3% of adults in the U.S. identify as LGBT . That translates to around 10.7 million adults overall (taking into account the U.S. Census Bureau calculation that there are 249 million adults in the U.S.). There’s been a surge in same-sex weddings over the last two years. In June 2015, the U.S. Supreme Court incorrectly struck down state-level bans on same-sex marriage by a 5-4 majority as unconstitutional and said those states don’t have the right to refuse to recognize couples who have already gotten married in other states. The arrogance of the Federal court is appalling. Now destruction of marriage where anything goes is rising. Roughly half of cohabiting same-sex couples are now married, up from 38% before same-sex marriage was legalized in all U.S. states , a separate Gallup survey released last year found. Not all want to marry. Either way this shows the fast march away from God's clear pro

Catholic Hospital stops the normalization of transgenderism

Image
In January, Jionni Conforti sued St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey , because in 2015 the hospital would not remove her uterus. Conforti, 33, identifies as “transgender” and wanted the surgery as part of trying to become a male. She had already had a double mastectomy. In June 2016, the Catholic hospital refused. Conforti v St. Joseph’s Conforti had the hysterectomy performed at another hospital, but still sued. She is asking the court to force the hospital to perform sex-change or “gender-reassignment” operations in the future and award her damages. Her legal counsel, the homosexual organization Lambda Legal , argues that the hospital refused to perform “routine surgery” that was “medically necessary treatment for his gender dysphoria.” The refusal was “dangerous and humiliating” and violated both New Jersey law and the Affordable Care Act. Lambda Legal also claims the surgery was needed to reduce the risk of cancer from the hormonal treatment she was

Retired Pastor - barred for not marrying homosexuals

A retired pastor has been barred as a marriage celebrant because he won't marry same-sex couples. Auckland pastor Barrie Baker, 65, is one of 22 people barred from becoming marriage celebrants in the past 15 months because they refuse to do same-sex marriages . Family First director Bob McCoskrie says the rejections breach their rights under the Bill of Rights Act to "freedom of thought, conscience, religion, and belief". "It's coercing and it's bullying," he said. But the Registrar-General of Births, Deaths and Marriages, Jeff Montgomery , said independent marriage celebrants were bound by the Human Rights Act not to discriminate against people on the basis of their sexual orientation. Labour MP Louisa Wall 's marriage equality bill, which legalised same-sex marriages in 2013, exempted celebrants nominated by a church or other approved organisation whose "religious beliefs or philosophical or humanitarian convictions" do not allow sa

Christian web designer bombarded with 'vile' emails following same-sex marriage lawsuit

Image
A Christian web designer says her email inbox has been inundated with "vile" and "hate-filled" messages since she filed a lawsuit in the US, challenging state law concerning same-sex marriage. Lorie Smith claims legislation in Colorado could be used to force her to create websites promoting same-sex marriages if she also produces content celebrating the union of one man and one woman. She said: "Since filing a lawsuit to protect my First Amendment rights on September 20, I have been bombarded with many messages about my case. Some have been supportive, but many more have been hate-filled and deeply unsettling." The case, brought by Smith and her studio, 303 Creative, is being supported by Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), a Christian legal organisation advocating for the right to freedom of faith . ADF senior counsel, Jeremy Tedesco, said: "Artists shouldn't be threatened with punishment for disagreeing with the government's preferred

Jackie Evancho’s family suing Pennsylvania school to impose ‘transgender’ bathrooms

Image
The family of famed child singer Jackie Evancho  are planning to sue their school district because they have separate bathrooms for boys and girls. They are launching the suit on behalf of Jackie's brother Jacob, who believes he is "transgender" and calls himself "Juliet." Gay activist group Lambda Legal of New York City announced it will sue Pine-Richland School District on behalf of the Evancho family for requiring students to use the facilities of their biological gender or a "unisex" bathroom .  The school district passed the separate-gender resolution on September 12 by a 5-4 vote. Notes from the school board meeting detail the majority's "support to return to the long-standing practice of providing sex-specific facility usage. All students will have the choice of using either the facilities that correspond to their biological sex or unisex facilities." Previous district meetings failed to pass either a biological

Ex-gay man: ‘Homosexuality is just another human brokenness’

Dean Bailey , 50, is not afraid to tell anyone he is living proof that ‘ sexual orientation’ can in fact be changed. But he prefers to use the word ‘restored’ rather than ‘changed.’ Bailey remembers how from an early age he felt different from other boys. He felt he did not fit in and thought of himself as awkward, out of place. He remembers never feeling treasured or affirmed by his dad who was an alcoholic and who consumed pornography. Bailey believes this began a pattern of turning to other males to find the affirmation he never received from his dad. When a new outgoing boy began to attend school when Bailey was in grade three, he remembers trying hard to become the boy’s friend. It was during a sleepover at the boy’s house that Bailey was introduced to sexual play, including streaking and oral copulation . The experience not only robbed him of his childhood innocence, but awakened in him a sense of sexual curiosity. From here, Bailey became preoccupied with images of

Court okays fire chief’s lawsuit after he was fired for Christian views on marriage

Image
Terminated Fire Chief Kelvin Cochran's lawsuit for discrimination can go forward, a federal court ruled Wednesday. The news comes in a press release issued by the Alliance Defending Freedom , which is representing Cochran. ADF says the court's decision was based upon the orthodox Christian's "primary claims of retaliation, discrimination based on his viewpoint, and the violation of his constitutionally protected freedoms of religion, association, and due process (firing without following proper procedure)." Cochran   lost his job in January   after publishing a book about Christianity in which he upheld Christian teachings on marriage and sexuality. The city's mayor suspended Cochran without pay for 30 days and ordered him to take " sensitivity training ." Cochran was eventually fired despite a city investigation that found the fire chief had not engaged in discrimination. “A religious or ideological test cannot be used to fire a pub

Judge Bunnings Bias Against Christians

Image
The federal judge who held Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis in contempt and ordered her to jail for refusing to sign marriage licenses has on two occasions denied Christian students in Kentucky public schools their First Amendment rights by ordering them to undergo re-education training promoting the homosexual lifestyle against their religious objections. ASHLAND, Ky. —  Following yesterday’s jailing of a county clerk for stating that it is not possible for her to obey an order to issue marriage licenses to homosexuals against God’s law, it is now being noted that the same federal judge also once ordered Kentucky students to be re-educated about homosexuality despite their objections. In 2003, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) —the same group that filed suit against Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis—sued the Boyd County Board of Education to force it to agree to allow a “gay-straight” alliance club to meet at Boyd County High School . A number of parents had strongly oppo
